Snow!
It snowed overnight! Well, it was mostly snow. We woke up this morning to a steady patter on the roof. The ground was all while outside, and snowflakes were drifting through the air. But, it was about a 50/50 mix of snow and sleet. After a while, the sleet stopped, and just snowflakes remained. Alexander wanted to play outside immediately and make a snowman. (He says he remembers doing it last year!) Boy, was it cold out there! We only got about a quarter of an inch, not enough for a snowman, but it was enough to make getting in and out of our driveway a pain. Alex and I got out our snowshovels and cleaned the driveway. He was a very good helper! When we finished the driveway, we went inside. I was ready to rest, and Alex was all ready to go shovel off the back porch.

Sorry there are no pictures, but I forgot to recharge the batteries after all the picture-taking yesterday.
